UL-Approved High-Performance Industrial Filter Foam
Cofan’s polyester filter foam offers an excellent balance of airflow performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness for electronic equipment air filtration. Its open-cell structure allows high volumetric airflow with low pressure drop, helping maintain cooling efficiency in systems that rely on forced convection. Compared to denser filtration media, it minimizes fan power penalties while effectively capturing coarse and mid-sized airborne particulates that can accumulate on heat sinks, optical modules, and PCB assemblies. The material is lightweight, resilient, and maintains structural integrity under continuous airflow, making it well suited for high-duty-cycle environments such as servers and telecom infrastructure.
Cofan’s polyester filter foam is widely used across data centers, hyperscale server racks, AI and HPC systems, telecommunications cabinets, industrial control enclosures, medical instrumentation, and edge computing systems. Typical applications include rack intake filter trays, fan module pre-filters, door-mounted intake panels, and chassis-level air filtration inserts.
