CofanThermal is excited to announce the opening of our brand-new manufacturing facility in Vietnam. Our new manufacturing facility in Vietnam signifies another major milestone for our company, allowing us to enhance our global reach, meet rising global manufacturing demand, and provide our customers with a means to diversify their geographic supply chain sourcing. This strategic expansion allows us to better serve our customers who prefer either direct manufacturing procurement or utilize regional contract manufacturing in the Asia Pacific Rim region and beyond to support their product needs.
At a time when many companies in North America are strategically re-evaluating their supply chain reliability and robustness, CofanThermal allows our customers to re-align their supply chain reliability with a China+1 strategy with minimal impact to component sourcing while simultaneously benefiting from lower import costs into the United States.

Vietnam’s strategic location and rapidly growing economy offer an optimal foundation for CofanThermal’s expansion within Southeast Asia. Situated in Ha Nam Province, approximately 25 miles south of Hanoi, our factory benefits from convenient access to major transportation hubs and a highly skilled workforce.
Most importantly for our customers, this facility is centrally positioned within the Asia-Pacific region, allowing direct shipments to regional contract manufacturers and significantly reducing shipping costs. Additionally, this location enhances supply chain resilience by providing a seamless transition and a reliable backup to existing manufacturing sources, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.

CofanThermal’s new 60,000 sq. ft. (5,000 sq. m) facility in Vietnam expands our total manufacturing capacity to 345,000 sq. ft. (32,000 sq. m), enhancing our ability to meet growing global demand for metal-fabricated and heatsink products. This expansion enables us to maintain industry-leading lead times while increasing production capacity for our full range of heatsinks, CNC-machined parts, bonded fin, skived fin heatsinks and precision sheet metal. In the future, the facility will also support sheet metal products and liquid-cooled cold plates, further strengthening our manufacturing capabilities.
