Thermal Management Solution
Custom Thermal Designs to
Keep Your Equipment Cool and Performing at Its Peak
Computational Fluid Dynamics
At Cofan Thermal, we understand the critical importance of thermal management in today’s fast-paced technological landscape. Inefficient cooling can lead to overheating, component failure, and shortened equipment lifespan. That’s why Cofan Thermal is proud to offer state-of-the-art CFD studies to help you design and implement highly effective cooling solutions.
COFAN THERMAL PRODUCTS
Cofan Thermal provides innovative and industry-leading thermal products.
Vapor Chambers
A flat, sealed device containing a small amount of liquid that vaporizes and condenses to efficiently transfer heat away from electronic components or devices.
OSFP Heatsink
Supporting optical transceivers from 800G up to 3.2T, Cofan’s solutions are also adaptable to both air- and liquid-cooled systems, ensuring efficient thermal performance across a wide range of deployment scenarios.
Cold Plates
A heat exchanger component integrated into electronic systems, circulates a cooling fluid through channels to efficiently remove heat generated by components, ensuring optimal operating temperatures.
Skived Fin Heatsink
Manufactured by skiving, a process where thin metal fins are sliced and lifted from a solid block of material to form an integrated, high-performance heat-dissipating structure.
Stacked/Zipper Fin Heatsink
A type of heatsink consists of multiple thin metal fins stacked and bonded together, significantly increasing the surface area to maximize heat dissipation efficiency.
Extruded Heatsink
A type of heatsink made by extruding aluminum or copper through a die to form a continuous cross-sectional profile, providing an efficient heat-dissipating profile.
Heat Pipes
A passive heat transfer device that efficiently moves heat from one location to another using phase change principles, typically consisting of a sealed hollow tube containing a working fluid.
CNC Machining
A manufacturing process where computer-controlled machines remove material from a workpiece to create a custom-designed part or product with high precision and accuracy.
Bonded Fin Heatsink
A type of heatsink in which the fins are attached to the base using a bonding agent, typically to enhance heat dissipation by increasing the surface area available for heat transfer.
Die Casting
A manufacturing process that uses molten metal injected into a mold cavity under high pressure to produce complex-shaped parts with tight tolerances and smooth surface finishes.
Extrusion
A manufacturing process where a metal or plastic material is forced through a die to create a continuous profile with a consistent cross-section.
Crimped Heatsink
A type of heatsink where the fins are mechanically attached to the base by crimping, ensuring a secure connection for effective heat dissipation without adhesives or soldering.
Sheet Metal
Thin and flat metal formed into sheets, commonly made of materials like aluminum, steel, or copper, extensively used in manufacturing and construction.
Harness Cable
A harness cable bundles wires and connectors to transmit power or signals, simplifying installation and protecting against damage. It’s used in cars, electronics, and industrial systems.
DC Fans
An electric fan powered by direct current (DC), provides efficient, adjustable airflow for cooling electronic devices and systems, commonly used in computers and various applications.
AC Fans
AC fans, driven by alternating current (AC), are extensively used for cooling in electronics, appliances, and industrial machinery due to their reliability and efficiency.
DC Blowers
A type of fan device powered by direct current (DC) that generates concentrated airflow for cooling or ventilation applications in electronics, automotive, or industrial systems.
DC Impellers
A fan component powered by direct current (DC) that features blades arranged around a central hub generating focused airflow for cooling in electronics, automotive, or industrial systems.
Crossflow Fans
A type of fan that generates a wide, uniform characterized by its cylindrical shape and unique airflow across its length, commonly used for cooling electronics, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems.
Frameless DC Fans
A frameless DC fan is a compact cooling device without an external frame and is commonly used in tight spaces where efficient airflow is crucial, such as in electronics and automotive cooling systems.
Friction Stir Welding
A solid-state joining process where materials are joined by the heat generated from friction between a rotating tool and the workpiece, without melting the materials.
MCPCB
MCPCB (Metal Core Printed Circuit Board) is a PCB designed for efficient heat dissipation through a metal core.
Super Pillar
Super pillars of MCPCBs enhance thermal management and structural integrity effectively in electronics.
Assembly
The process of putting together components or parts to create a finished product or structure efficiently and accurately.
